Welcome back to the Border Amal website for the 2007 season.

Oldham Federation are back on top of the Border Amal result for Saturday 26th May, 2007 with E & H Worsley taking the top position again from Portland, flying with Dane Bank and Denton Clubs. Well done to this partnership on their success.

Well done also to the other two Federation winners - A & S Hughes of South East Lancs Fed, flying with the Littleborough Club with a winning velocity in the Fed of 1285.01 and to Steve Gilbert in the North East Lancs Fed, flying with Barnoldswick Club. Another Fed win for Steve on a velocity of 1265.24.

I will again be offering fanciers the facility to ring my number on a Saturday for the price of a local call to get an update on the Border Amal liberations. Naturally I cannot guarantee that the line won't go down but last year I think we only had a problem on one race.

ASHTON FLYING CLUB TOOK DELIVERY OF THEIR NEW SYSTEMS ON TUESDAY 5TH JUNE, 2007 AT THE LIBERAL CLUB AND WILL NOW BE HAVING PRACTICE RACES IN READINESS FOR APPROVED USE ON THE 1ST JULY, 2007.
